9/11 Day of Service 2015
PEG Contracting was honored to participate in the Activate Good’s 4th annual 9/11 Day of Service. The event aimed to engage 2,000 volunteers from around the Triangle to participate in various volunteer projects on 9/11.
With 2,535 volunteer connections taking place on September 11, Active Good exceeded their goal by 25%! PEG Contracting staff members are thrilled to serve the community and honor those lost on 9/11 with acts of service and kindness.
More than 40 non-profit organizations benefited from this volunteer service project. PEG Contracting staff members helped assemble up to 10,000 school supply for Goodwill Community Foundation (GCF). These kits were be donated to the Boys and Girls Club of Eastern NC and distributed to kids in need in our community.
