We were privileged to attend the ribbon cutting ceremony and dedication of the R. Steven Biggs Regional Wastewater Treatment Facility. The new facility will immediately start pretreating industrial wastewater generated from Novo Nordisk’s $2 billion active pharmaceutical ingredient manufacturing facility. The new facility’s purpose is to provide industrial pretreatment capacity to serve industrial users in the region. The facility’s state of the art, modular design provides flexibility and expansion capacity for current and future pharmaceutical partners.
