A US-based contract development, testing, and manufacturing organization serving the pharmaceutical and biotech industries embarked on a comprehensive facility expansion and enhancement to optimize their GMP manufacturing and warehouse site.

Programming encompassed new design development, constructability reviews, corporate funding request presentations, and construction RFP-bid evaluation and awards for various capital projects. The project involved strategic equipment installations and upgrades, including the existing aseptic fill-line suite, new autoclave, new -20°C freezer, downflow booths, clean utilities, and air handling units.

35 North provided program and project management for the client’s CAPEX portfolio. Collaborating closely with key stakeholders, we identified and addressed business and operational requirements, as well as developed project scopes, budgets, and schedules – ensuring alignment with the client’s multi-year master plan build-out. Our proactive approach ensured the smooth flow of the project, from securing project funding and issuing purchase orders to launching construction activities. Lastly, we led the engineering conceptual design effort, which encompassed the GMP warehouse expansion and visual inspection suite relocation.
