The site components consists of a Visitor Center with classrooms, playgrounds, picnic shelters, exhibits and signage (wayfinding, entrance, trail/hiking, etc.), and walking trails. Landscaping features and outdoor areas will be constructed throughout the site and include a community garden, native prairies, outdoor classroom areas, and public artwork. Site clearing and grading, excavation and backfill for stormwater and sewer utilities, erosion control and irrigation is also considered. Asphalt parking spaces and roadways are on the site. Site lighting will be included along the roadways and throughout the parking areas.
