VA Medical Center Jesse Brown Steam and Chilled Water Study

The steam and chilled water study consisted of the phased replacement of the steam/condensate distribution piping and chilled water piping, including pipe supports, insulation and jacketing, and valves.
35 North provided cost management services for the evaluation of this project, which consisted of the steam pressure reducing stations and assessment of the steam/condensate and chilled water distribution system. The project scope also included evaluating the chilled water supply piping and condensate receiving units, as well as phasing measures. Additional add alternates included the insertion electromagnetic flow meter and hot tap, pressure and temperature gauges, and the installation of 2-300 ton air-cooled chillers to serve Building 40.
