The base scope of the project consists of a proposed new 32,500 SF / 3 story academic facility.
The first floor will house classrooms, office departments, and flex space. The second floor will contain general teaching labs, a clean room, and specialized labs for biomanufacturing, bio agriculture, and histotechnology. The majority of the 3rd floor will be “warm shelled” in the base scope with eventual fit out targeted as a future project.
In addition, the scope also includes the development of a 2 acre site around the new building to create new pedestrian circulation, outdoor plaza / classrooms, and landscaping to tie-in with the existing campus. Parking Lot L will also be expanded to create 159 added surface parking spaces.
